Zofia Machnowski is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative world has been shaped by movement, aesthetics, and the ritual of experience. Born in Venezuela to a family of artists, she began her artistic path at a young age, experimenting with color, textures and the written word in a diverse array of media, and excelling at drawing, writing, and dance. By her mid teens, Zofia begins studying contemporary dance and classical ballet at the internationally known Instituto Superior de Danza in Caracas. Parallel to her dance education, she trained under some of Caracas’ most influential visual, graphic, and stage artists—an early immersion that formed the foundation for her signature blend of movement, image, and atmosphere.

In her late teens, Zofia immigrated to the United States to pursue formal studies in the arts at Kendall College of Art & Design, later becoming a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in 2000. This eclectic academic journey expanded her creative vocabulary, allowing her to merge sensory design, visual storytelling, and the performative with culinary artistry.

That same year, she relocated to Israel, joining the vibrant early culinary scene of Tel Aviv. She worked at iconic establishments such as Keren, Lilit, and Barbaresco, soaking up to the city’s evolving gastronomic identity. From 2002 to 2007, Zofia stepped back to focus on parenting, returning to the creative world with renewed depth and clarity. Her reemergence marked the beginning of her transition into crafting and hosting immersive, multidisciplinary experiences.

In 2023, she founded Ceremonial Space—a conceptual event venture dedicated to sophisticated, imaginative artistic experiences for individuals drawn to beauty, fantasy, mysticism, and otherworldly realms. Each event is designed as a ceremonial journey, blending performance, atmosphere, symbolism, and sensory play.

Oracle is the latest addition to Ceremonial Space’s growing catalog—an evocative experience that continues Zofia’s lifelong exploration of art as an intimate, transformative encounter.
